After ten years, this couple decided it was time to hit refresh. The first level of the home went under a major renovation. Demolition of walls, kitchen cabinets, flooring all went out the window. A bright, airy and place of happiness was the intended goal for this home. The kitchen transformed from a dark corner to a place of light and beauty. Keeping a casual yet elegant feel, white oak flooring and brick herringbone backsplash add a warm contrast against the floor to ceiling white cabinets and polished nickel fixtures and hardware. Natural quartzite countertops add visual movement and the necessary durability for the family of five. The handmade walnut extension to the kitchen island brings the family together without sacrificing space. The bi-fold glass door opens the kitchen to the outdoors for a seamless flow and additional entertainment.
