Rich in textile and railroad history, Family Trust’s humble past became the inspiration for the new office headquarters in Rock Hill. The architecture and interiors work together to seamlessly blend the old with the new, traditional design with modern technology, and tie the exterior design within. Two story curtain glass entrance and an open lounge with a clerestory, abundantly fills the office building with natural sunlight. Winthrop art students adorned the walls with elements rooted in the past. Steel, wood, glass, and stone are fused to create a sophisticated, yet modern workplace, that holds rich meaning and bring people together.
